From detection to feedback and acknowledgement of the matter, there is already a time lag, resulting in anxiety and inconvenience. At times, even users’ feedback may be inaccurate. When the matter is finally resolved after on site inspection, testing and remedial work, time and labour cost have been incurred.

The Model WT-1010LM avoids such inconveniences and unnecessary delays. With the Model WT-1010LM supported by a sophisticated software detection system, it will monitor the performance of elevator systems like clockwork with efficiency. With the system in place, it is able to monitor the performance of 500 elevators simultaneously.

                                           

The monitoring centre is alerted of any operational anomaly and/or failure before the

end user is aware of the occurrence.

The detection and alert is reported and shown on monitoring screens on computers and via mobile message alerts. The cause of anomaly and/or failure is diagnosed upon detection and confirmation of fault. The system performs a self diagnosis to determine the extent of the fault before feedback is provided to its monitoring base.

Once the extent of fault or failure is confirmed, the monitoring centre personnel in charge has the authority to initiate corrective action such as resetting of the ELCB by turning off and turning on the main power or shut down the elevator system for safety purposes. All these from a remote location via computer interface or via a mobile device as and when deemed fit according to circumstances. A specialist team is despatched on site only when remote access remedial action have not been able to resolve the matter satisfactorily.

Of worthy note is the step by step self-diagnosis ability in the software that eliminates cases of where false alarms are given as a result of pranks and misuse. These often result in specialist teams being sent over at considerable cost only to realise that a false alarm was transmitted because someone decided to play a prank or from deliberate misuse.

For routine performance monitoring, the system is able to chart the total number of times a particular elevator unit ascends or descends its shaft in order to chart an ideal capacity load and optimise its performance based on routine patterns of usage.

Ultimately, the remote monitoring system allows for maximisation of up time, minimising down time while allocating time slots for scheduled maintenance work through an intelligent self diagnosis and appropriate first level responses to genuine faults via remote locations.

It can monitor up to 2 digital inputs. A pre-programmed alarm message can be sent to the pre-programmed phone number when lift failure. The user can also interrogate the inputs through SMS messaging.

It can also be used to monitor the daily operation of lift by counting how many times the lift goes up or down. It is prepared to count pulses of DC=70 ms and T=1.16.

The WT-1010LM also has 2 heavy-duty relay outputs which can be used to reset the lift or set off an audible alarm when lift failure. Output Relay 1 can be permanently switched ON or OFF by calling its phone number, there is no call charges incurred when dialing the unit as it will recognize an authorized telephone number calling it and reject the call without answering. A lot peoples ask me, since automatic gate having remote control, why you need your mobile phone to become remote control?

When user calls to the unit, the GSM gate opener will check the calling number if inside the white list. If the numbers are in the list then it will reject the call and open the gate. The system did not answer the call; it simply checks the caller ID.

All electric gates have a button that is used to open them. The GSM gate or GSM door opener has a relay whose contact connected to the opening button. When user calls into the GSM control switch, the system is intelligent to search his/her numbers under its white list. If the numbers registered in list, the GSM gate controller or GSM door opener will trigger the relay and open the gate.

GSM operators did not charge anything because the system just simply rejects the call. It won’t cost anything to open the gate via the gsm gate controller or gsm door opener. Of course, an active SIM card is needed for this solution. Absolutely no call cost to open the gate.

Flexibility - You can store and delete number into the GSM controller or gate remote opener anytime. Simple sending the SMS that starts with password to the GSM gate opener.  This solution only allows the person who knows the password can insert or delete the phone numbers via text messages. If you compared to remote control, the only solution is to send back to the installer to reprogram the landing code.

Fully Automatic GSM Remote Water Tank Level Monitoring and Pump Control System

A dynamic hydro or water level management system that thrives on changes and turns variations to your advantage. The device should provide convenience and peace of mind as owners do not need to be present at all times on site to monitor water levels at different sectors.”

The ideas remote water level management and control system should perform the following;  

1)      When water down to certain level – “LOW” , 1^st input sensor should detect, the WT-1011RC will trigger input and sent SMS to 8 persons mobile phone (admin) including the monitoring software in office. For example, SMS inform users – “TANK 1 Water LOW”

2)      The 2^nd input will detect the second level of water – “CRITICAL LOW”. When 2^nd sensor detect the level which reach the minimum, it will trigger the 2^nd input, WT-1011RC will then sent message to the water pump, turn on the water pump.

3)      When the water pump turns on, it will sent out the SMS to the user to inform the water pump turn on/ off. For example – SMS contents “Water Pump 1 turn on”

4)      After the pump turns on and water level up to the maximum level, sensor will trigger WT-1011RC and sent the SMS to the water pump, to turn off the water pump. WT-1011RC will then report the SMS to user – “water pump turn off”

5)      If outside the dam water level is higher, dam electric gate should be shut off to prevent water flow back. WT-1011RC will trigger the door gate motor turn on and closed the gate, send a message to the users. “Door Closed, Water Level High”

6)      If outside the dam water level became lower, WT-1011RC will trigger the door gate to open, send a message to user or remote monitoring software.

7)      Every time when switch on / off, level high, low, back to normal, turn off pump, it will send SMS to the user. 

Whenever variations of weather conditions are present such as drought, rain or tide changes, it will affect the water levels. GSM remote monitoring and control system should detect the water level and sent to 8 people’s mobile phone (admin) and remote monitoring software provided.

The GSM alert system provides convenience and peace of mind as owners do not need to be presents at all the times or employs a person sitting at site to monitor water levels at different sectors.

Another function for the GSM remote control system is used to protect the pump motor from excessive wear and tear leading to pre-mature failure. Heat is generated when electric motors operate.
