The “Off Hire” Model WT 215 has been specifically designed
for the construction equipment hire industry to allow the owner to have remote
control over the equipment regardless of the location of the equipment.
In many examples, the remote location of the equipment does
not allow the owner to ensure that they are being honestly informed when the
equipment is actually off hire and is continued to be used after it has been
claimed to be off hire
This is cost the owner valuable revenue and the Off Hire
system ensures the owner can remotely disable the equipment when it has been
claimed to be Off service and not being paid for
In the same situation, the owner can re enable the equipment
if is further required and this can be done remotely from any location and
regardless of the location of the equipment or the owner
This is a simple “low cost solution, and done very simple
via the GSM network using your mobile phone which can “disable” and Enable”
anytime by sending the text messages to the construction equipment. The system can also advise the owner if the
power to equipment has been disconnected and also when it is reconnected.
The off hire system also has an alarm input which can
monitor one of the more critical parameters of the construction equipment which
may cause serious damage to the unit such as overheating or lower water
pressure to the system and again the unit can be shut down remotely to prevent
any further damage
The off hire system is housed in an IP 65 enclosure and
supplied with two compression glands and has fixing points to secure the system
to any part of the construction equipment and can also remain covert without
any unauthorized parties aware of the face the system is installed.
